NATURE OF ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE MOUNTAINS
3 days of lessons on the “Nature” of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains
Workshops are designed for groups of teachers of Nature and Geography. Participants are about to learn the identification principles of minerals and rocks, identification of basic groups of fossils, description of exposures, reading of geological and sociological studies. They have the opportunity to learn about the unique features of the natural environment of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, such as the relationship between rock types and weathering processes (chirats) as well as succession of plants on different types of rock. The participants will discover unique geological sites and reserves, such as Castle Hill, Raj Cave, Miedzianka and Kadzielnia.
