The aim of this course is to present a general overview of the clastic sediments seen across the Świętokrzyskie mountains. The exposures seen across the area display a variety of sedimentation environments, ranging from transitions between coastal and shallow marine environments to providing evidence for marine transgressive and regressive cycles. All of these will allow for the students to understand the workings behind a series of clastic sedimentary environments and again their variability across both time and space. Clastic rocks are abundant in the stratigraphic successions of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, through the Cambrian to the Tertiary and were formed across a variety of clastic environments.
